We hope all our members are staying healthy and safe!
As the pandemic world we are living in today is changing so rapidly, we will provide brief daily updates on the Club's status, as well as ways we can continue to connect.
The golf course is open today, and every Monday until we close as scheduled on Monday, April 27 for our planned renovation. We had hoped we could start this project right away, but our contractor was unable to mobilize the crews needed, so we are back to our original plan. Many of you have asked whether we should postpone this renovation for a year due to the current situation, but this is not possible. We already killed the Bermudagrass last year and overseeded with winter rye. This grass will die off soon and we will not have any grass on the fairways and tees. The primary purpose of this project is to regrass the course and make significant upgrades to our drainage and irrigation systems. The Strategic Planning Committee and Board of Governors are looking at the scope of the project to identify other areas we may be able postpone for cost savings now.
Tee times begin daily at 8 am; please call the Golf Shop at 733-1511 to schedule. Carts are single riders only (unless spouses or immediate family members choose to ride together) and we are sanitizing them after each use. Members only are permitted on the golf course — no guests, no reciprocals. Tee times are scheduled 10 minutes apart and we may have to limit participation in all golf operations to avoid overcrowding.
The Golf Shop is closed for member access, but staffed, so if you need supplies call the Shop and we will bring it out to you. Other important rules:
Please do not remove the flagstick; once your ball hits the cup surrounding the hole, pick it up and consider it holed.
Rakes are removed from the bunkers; please use care to minimize disruption.
The practice range is open with bags of balls for purchase
The putting green and short game area are open, please bring your own balls
Ball washers, sand buckets, and towels are removed from the course
Please handle your own golf bag from your vehicle; if you have bag storage at the Club, you can continue to utilize this service and we will bring your bag to the cart, remove it after play and sanitize it
If you gather after play, please maintain appropriate social distancing of at least six feet, per CDC guidelines
Tennis courts are open for members only and will be monitored by the tennis staff from 9 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday and on 10 am to 5 pm on weekends. Please do not bring non-members or you will risk having your privileges suspended. The Tennis Shop will be closed.
Courts are open on a first come, first serve basis; no court reservations.
You may play singles or doubles, with a limit of four players per court.
If you sit on the patio, please maintain appropriate social distancing of at least six feet per CDC guidelines.
Please bring your own balls.
No clinics, group lessons, events or tournaments are available
