PGA Head Professional
Todd has been our PGA Head Professional since 2000. Active in the local and state chapters of the PGA of America for more than 25 years, Todd has held nearly all leadership positions and won more than 45 awards from the PGA Northern Chapter and North Florida Section, including PGA Professional of the Year, Merchandiser of the Year, Junior Leader, Horton Smith Award, and Bill Strausbaugh Award.
His teaching specialties include Beginners, Ladies, Mental Approach, Putting, Course Management, Swing Simplification, Video, and Full Swing Review.
Chris DeBusk, PGA
PGA Assistant Professional
Chris wears a lot of hats at San Jose since joining the team in 2016. In addition to working in the Golf Shop and giving lessons, he is also the hard goods merchandise manager, and heads up our junior program. A golf professional since 1991 and PGA member since 2005, Chris is one of only four PGA members worldwide to hold specialty certifications in all seven PGA career paths: golf operations, instruction, general management, retail, executive management, ownership/leasing and player development. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Certified Titleist Ball and Club Fitter; True Temper Certified Shaft Fitting Expert; KBS Certified Shaft Fitting Expert; US Kids Certified Coach; Positive Coaching Alliance Certified Coach; and Titleist Staff Member for 19 years straight.
Chris gives instructions to all members, both in group lessons such as the Get Golf Ready Series, and individual, for adults and juniors. He is the coach and captain of our PGA Junior League Teams and heads up all our Junior Camps and our ongoing Junior Clinics.
When he’s not working, Chris and his wife Shana enjoy spending time with their daughters Brianna and Ella.
